When I was flying back home, I genuinely thought the awakening was ending. I thought the signs, the colors, the synchronicities- all of it, would stop once I left Pakistan. I remember feeling sad about it on the plane.
But I didn’t realize my journey was actually just beginning..
To my surprise, I instantly starting seeing signs again.
I saw the word 'Unite" huge on a billboard. While getting my lugagge, I saw pink everywhere in the airport.
My husband picked me up and drove me home. And the moment he opened the front door, the very first thing my eyes landed on was a painting I had made months before I ever knew any of this would happen.
A painting of Allah’s name.
In teal and purple.
Which were the two colors I wore on my last day in Pakistan. I wore purple in the daytime and Teal in the evening to the airport. And these two colors became the most powerful color combo in my awakening journey.
So I was shocked that those were the two colors I chose to paint Allah's name months prior.. and I didn't notice it until I came back home.
I dropped all of my bags on the floor and ran to the painting. I showed it to my husband.. I was in awe. I couldn't believe it..
I went into our TV room and saw teal and purple everywhere..
The furniture, the cusions, the tasbihs hanging on the wall, the carpet, the coasters on the coffee table.
It was everywhere.
How did I not notice it before?
I had lived in that house for years and somehow never noticed. But coming back from Pakistan.. it was like Allah gave me a new sight. The room wasn't different. I was.
I continued noticing signs while unpacking, while showering, while cooking, while praying, while watching TV.
I thought my awakening ended when my flight took off.
But I was wrong.
It began the moment I returned home.
