Home Sweet Home.

When I was flying back home, I genuinely thought the awakening was ending. I thought the signs, the colors, the synchronicities- all of it, would stop once I left Tehran. I remember feeling sad about it on the plane.
But I didn’t realize my journey was actually just beginning.
Actually- purple and teal became the most powerful color combination in my awakening journey. I didn't know this was the combo until my last day at Tehran.
Purple and teal became the most powerful color combination in my awakening. I didn’t even understand the meaning of it until my last day in Tehran. I wore purple during the day and then teal at the airport. Purple and teal together became the mark of my journey-the thread running through all of it.
I landed at the airport back home, expecting silence. To my surprise, I instantly starting seeing signs again.
I saw the word 'Unite" huge on a billboard. While getting my lugagge, I saw pink everywhere in the airport.
My husband picked me up and drove me home. And the moment he opened the front door and the very first thing my eyes landed on was a painting I had made months before I ever knew any of this would happen.
A painting of Allah’s name.
In purple and teal.
I dropped all of my bags on the floor and ran to the painting. I showed it to my husband.. I was in awe. I couldn't believe it..
I painted that months prior to my awakening and I had no idea that the colors I chose at that time, would end up being the colors of my journey. And that fact it had Allah's name on it..
SubhanAllah.
I went into our TV room and saw teal and purple everywhere.. The furniture, the cusions, the tasbihs hanging on the wall, the carpet, the coasters on the coffee table.
It was everywhere. How did I not notice it before?
I had lived in that house for years and somehow never noticed. But coming back form Tehran, it was like Allah gave me a new sigt. The room wasn't different. I was.
I continued noticing signs while unpacking, while showering, while cooking, while praying, while watching TV.
I thought my awakening ended when my flight took off.
But I was wrong.
It began the moment I returned home.
