Closure Doesn't Come From the Man, It Comes from Allah.

Let the title speak for itself. This morning I ran to the bathroom and I was scrolling through an Instagram post that talked about how closure comes from Allah- not the man.

It hit me..

hard.

Allah unveiled it to me today. The truth for release. For the past 6 months, I have been under the illusion that the closure comes from the man.

Just imagine it- the man you love never messages you again.. if he never messages you to acknowledge what you guys were, how sorry her is, what he feels..

your stomach drops right? That feeling.

That is what I would feel every single time I imagined this scenario. Because the harsh truth is that awakenings do not gaurantee closure from the man. Some awakening stories end in reunion with the original man, some end in closure messages- then parting ways, and others end in nothing. The man never reaches out ever again.

And the 'nothing' scenario would make my stomach drop.. because I knew that if 'nothing' was my story- I would not be able to handle it. I am being honest here.

It doesn't matter how much trust you have, how much you believe in Allah.. but imagining that scenario is an awakened woman's nightmare. It was mine.

Until I was hit with a truth today.. that it was never supposed to come from the man all along.

The man you're in love with could message you right now-

he could say all of the right things.. apologizing, sobbing, confession love, acknowledging everything, and do everything in HIS power to give you a proper closure.

And guess what? You heart may still feel no closure. Because Allah did not untie you yet. This is not the man's power, it is Allah's power.

This. Ladies and gentleman. This is the truth that will set you heart just a little bit more free.

Closure does not come from a man.. it comes from Allah.

It may just be that this man never messages you ever again- but Allah unties your heart. That becomes your closure.

Because closure is not an action- its a decree (qadr).

Your closure will not come from the man messaging you, it will come the moment Allah decides that you're done with this test. Even if the man messaged you this very moment, it wouldn't solve anything in your heart; if Allah doesn't will it.

This love and pain was never from the man. It came from Allah- for a purpose.

When the heart is meant to soften, the pain continues.. regardless of what the man does.

When the heart is meant to close, the obsession disappears.. regardless of what the man does.

So don't be scared of that scenario. Don't let it hold your heart in fear. That man has absolutely no power.. no control.. and there's absolutely nothing he can do EVER do to unhook you from this pain.

Only Allah can. So don't ask Allah to have this man reach out to you or to open a doorway to him- simply ask Allah to unhook you from him. Because it's not the man's job, it's Allah's.

So give Allah that control.
